Our Story

Twin sisters, one studio

Studio Twinswa is the work of identical twin sisters from Oslo — Betina and Emilie. We grew up between Norway's long summers and longer winters, the kind that teach you to find the small joys: a slow Sunday at the tennis club, the choreography of a beach day, the first quiet run of the season.

Our prints are aerial — we draw the world the way you remember it from above. Tiny figures, soft palettes, the rhythm of the sports and seasons we love. Each piece is illustrated by hand, made to order in archival pigment on museum-grade fine art paper, and shipped from a partner studio close to you.

What we believe in

Made to order. Nothing is printed until you buy it. No overproduction, no warehousing, no waste sitting in storage waiting for someone to want it.

Real materials. Museum-grade matte fine art paper, archival pigment inks. The kind of print you frame and keep.

Slow design. We release pieces when they're right, not on a calendar. Some illustrations take months. Some travel from a sketch on a flight to Paris to the wall of someone's summer house.
